Share
Organize finished work into folders and send it to clients and collaborators with a single link.
Share is where your work leaves the workspace. Group finished assets into folders, mark what's approved, and hand out a link that anyone can open — no Hylope account required.
When to reach for Share
Reach for Share when it's time to package a selection for someone outside your team — a client, a reviewer, or a stakeholder. Use Projects and Shots while the work is still in progress.
The layout
Share is a three-panel workspace:
- Left — your folder tree. Build any hierarchy you like and drag assets between folders.
- Center — the assets in the selected folder, in the same justified grid you know from Gallery.
- Right — share settings and folder details for whatever you have selected.
Share a folder in three steps
Build a folder
Create a folder in the left sidebar and drag in the assets you want to deliver. Nest folders for multi-part deliveries, and use the breadcrumb to jump back up the tree.
Mark what's ready
Set candidates to Review and finished selects to Approved. These statuses follow each asset everywhere — Gallery, Snippets, and media inputs — so your approved picks stay obvious across the whole app.
Create a public link
Open the share settings on the right and generate a link. Add a password if the work is sensitive, then share it anywhere.
What recipients get
A public link opens a clean, mobile-friendly viewer that works without a login:
- Password protection whenever you need it
- Zip download of the whole folder in one click
- Folder- or shot-scoped links, so you share exactly as much as you mean to
Social preview image
Off by default
For privacy, a share link has no preview image until you turn one on — pasting the link into Slack or email shows a plain link, not a poster of your assets.
Turn on Social preview image in the share settings to generate a poster from the folder's contents. Once generated, the poster is locked — it won't update on its own as the folder changes, so hit Regenerate whenever you want it to reflect the current contents.
Password protection
Social preview images are unavailable while a folder's link has a password.
