Search & Filtering

Hylope offers multiple ways to find assets in your library.

Text Search

Full-text search across all your prompts and asset metadata:

• Search by prompt keywords
• Search by model or provider name
• Powered by PostgreSQL full-text search (tsvector)

Color Search

Find assets by their dominant colors:

1. Click the color search icon in the Gallery
2. Pick a color using the color picker
3. Results are sorted by color similarity

Color search uses perceptual color matching, so it works across similar hues and tones.

Filters

Filter your gallery by:

• Mode — Show only images, videos, music, etc.
• Project — Filter by project assignment
• Shot — Filter by shot within a project
• Favorites — Show only starred assets
• Date range — Filter by generation date

Sorting

Sort your gallery by:

• Date — Most recent first (default)
• Relevance — When using text search

Tips

• Combine text search with filters for precise results
• Use color search to find assets that match a specific palette
• The Gallery app provides the best search experience with full-screen results
